Latinos are the largest ethnic minority group in the United States. They are also, generally, one of the most under served populations. How, then, can we better serve their needs? In this workshop, you will learn about what the research says about Latino and anxiety disorders. We will review prevalence rates and risk factors, as well as how culture affects the expression of anxiety, We then conclude with a review of evidence-based research.
This workshop is most appropriate for those in the helping professions.
